Animal lover Lorraine Oakley-Kyte had an amazing day feeding and caring for our animals when she became a DZG Keeper for the Day.
The Great Bridge mum-of-two, pictured above, was given the experience as a Mother’s Day gift from her daughter Britani, aged 17, and 15-year-old son Max.
And Lorraine has been spreading the word about her animal adventure and said she would definitely recommend the full-on day.
She said: “I absolutely loved it, I was like a kid in a sweet shop and I’m 52!
“It was an incredible one-on-one experience which lasted the whole day. The staff were so knowledgeable and I learned such a lot.
“I love all animals but have a soft spot for primates so feeding the chimps with a watering can was fabulous, I could have stayed there all day.”
Lorraine also enjoyed feeding the penguins and got a lovely souvenir snap with a couple of our black and white ruffed lemurs, who even posed for the occasion!
Glad you had a memorable day, Lorraine!
