Nine-year-old Liam Travis returned to be a DZG Little Zoo Keeper after loving the experience so much last year.
The Birmingham school boy, pictured above, first spent the day as a Little Keeper with us for his 8th birthday and has just repeated the excellent experience for his ninth.
And the Pheasey Park Farm Primary School pupil hopes to make it an annual encounter as he plans to be a zoo keeper when he’s older.
His dad Jed Cure, from Kingstanding, said: “Liam absolutely loves working with the animals and has already spoken about coming back again every year for his birthday.
“He loved feeding the penguins and learning more about the meerkats. He just loved the whole day.
“He can’t wait until he’s 14 so he can feed the giraffes.”
