Ungulates keepers used up the last of the suncream on our Brazilian tapirs during yesterday’s sunshine.
Keeper Neil Flockhart squeezed the last drops out of the bottle to apply lotion to our Brazilian tapir family males Chico and Ronnie, and female one-year-old Tallulah to protect their skin as temperatures rose in the South American paddock.
Three-month-old baby Eve and mum, Meena, missed out on the treatment as they spent most of the day in the internal enclosure.
