Jubilee and Queenie, our baby Bactrian camels, are leading our celebrations today as we join the nation in celebrating 70 years of the Queen’s reign.
Visit our bunting-clad farm barn and castle courtyard as we’ll be having entertainment running throughout the day, including Dippy the clown, patriotic face painting, arts and crafts and animal encounters with some of our smallest critters.
Plus, don’t forget to grab a picture on our golden thrones in our selfie prop areas inside the barn and castle, where in the latter you’ll also be able to see a display of memories and photos of the Queen’s visit to Dudley Castle in 1994.
And help us retrieve the Queen’s missing corgis, by following our trail around the 40-acre zoo site – paying a visit to say hello to our month-old patriotic baby camels on the way.
Later this evening we’ll be welcoming civic dignitaries to light one of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee beacons on top of the 11th century scheduled monument at 9.45pm – if you’re passing through Dudley town at that time, make sure to have a look towards the castle!
