Father Christmas is inviting you to join him for tea during a special event to help us raise money for our snow leopard enclosure project.
Join us for an evening of festive fun on Saturday, December 10 and enjoy a delicious meal with the man in red, before every child receives a surprise gift.
Entertainment will be provided by the choir from nearby Jesson’s School, who’ll be singing favourite carols and there’ll be a chance to win an adoption for a DZG animal of your choice by taking part in our fundraising tombola.
Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Santa, who’ll be arriving straight from his Winter Wonderland grotto in the 11th century castle.
“He suggested he help us raise money for our snow leopard project, which we thought was a great idea, as work is expected to begin in the coming weeks to include an extended enclosure, a new viewing area and platform for Margaash and our newly-arrived Taïga.”
Tickets for the event, which runs from 5pm until 7.30pm, are priced £8.50 per adult and £12 for children over one, while a family of two adults and two children is £38. Tickets for children under one, who won’t be eating, are £5.
Included in the cost is a turkey bap, mince pie and hot drink for adults, while children can enjoy chicken nuggets, chips and a cold drink.
