Our newly-launched Summer Academy offers youngsters a chance to go wild with a packed week of animal adventures.
From August 6 to 10
Eight to ten-year-olds have the opportunity to join exotic encounters across the site and learn about their favourite species in Go Wild Adventurers.
From August 20 to 25
11-15 year-olds can take part in Go Wild Rangers where they will discover the amazing World of Lemurs plus make an enrichment toy.
DZG presenter Caroline Howard said: “From meeting the friendly furry faces down on the farm to bug hunts aplenty Go Wild Adventurers week will be a great experience for animal-mad youngsters. “Activities will include lots of fun games, arts and crafts plus workshops on various species and their habitats. “At the end of the week you can explore the whole 40-acres site to try to complete our Zoo Quest Challenge!” She added:?”Rangers will have the opportunity to see, touch and hear some of the most incredible creatures on earth and also learn how we look after our most popular species.” Go Wild places, at £99 per child for five days, MUST be booked prior to the event.
