DZG’s reindeer are looking very straggly at the moment as they undergo their annual summer moult.
All of the reindeer, including babies Fern and Holly, are shedding their thick furry coats to cope with rising temperatures.
Unfortunately for our shaggy herd, the fur comes off in small clumps, so for the next few weeks it’s hooves at the ready as they try to rub off the itchy coats themselves.
But our younger visitors shouldn’t worry because they will soon all grow back their luscious locks in time to welcome Father Christmas in December!
