Animal-mad Isobel Larkin had a tremendous time when she became a DZG Little Keeper for the Day.
The creature-crazy nine-year-old, who hopes to be a vet, was treated to the exciting experience for Christmas.
The youngster, from Kings Norton, worked with Humboldt penguins and Brazilian tapirs as well as helping out on the DZG farm.
Her dad Peter said: Isobel chose the experience as a Christmas present and wants to be a vet when shes older. She really enjoyed the day and feeding the penguins was her favourite part.
