I’m a boy!!

Yaay, I’m a boy – and that’s official!

I’ve kept everyone guessing since I was born at the end of June – red pandas don’t venture out of their nesting box until they are 90 days old – but very early this morning keepers snuck up on me, wrapped me in a fleece and had a quick look to see what sex I am.

I made them run round a bit trying to catch me, but there were too many of them so I couldn’t dash away and I just had to give in and let them have a look!

They all seem very pleased that I’m a boy, and my mum, Yasmin, let me have lots of extra panda cake for brekkie after the wake-up surprise.

Now they’ve just got to think of a name for me!
