Icarus’s unwanted guests

Ferruginous buzzard, Icarus met unwanted guests during our daily birds of prey show.

Birds Section Leader, Kellie Piper, said: “A couple of crows obviously saw Icarus as a threat and mobbed him.

“Crows will try their luck with buzzards as they are quite sluggish birds and the crows think they can get away with it.

“Thankfully Icarus moved out of their way and was unharmed.”
