Honey bunny set for Easter

Giant English rabbit Honey is set for a busy Easter.

EasterHoney-web-1The bonny bunny, who tips the scales at a whopping 15lbs 10ozs, is hoping to meet lots of youngsters throughout the holidays as they join our annual Easter egg trail.

Senior Keeper, Lesley Lewis, said: “Although Honey is already a big attraction with young visitors, she will be spoilt for attention during the Easter break.”

Four-year-old Honey can usually be spotted hopping around the Farmyard contact paddock she shares with mega bunny mates, Hazel and Holly.

Lesley added: “She loves lying out in the paddock and being stroked and youngsters just head straight for her.”

Honey will play a key role during our Easter funtime – the winner of the best bonnet competition, taking place on Easter Sunday, will be awarded a Meet & Greet with her and her Farmyard friends, and an adoption package for a giant English rabbit is the top trophy in our prize draw.
