From 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm (last admission 6 pm)
Join us for a late afternoon in the Castle where we’re joining in with the annual Heritage Open Days which nationally run from 10th – 19th September 2021.
Access will be available to the 11th Century Castle in the heart of Dudley Zoo during the afternoon of 16th and 17th September. This venue will open it’s doors for free from 3.30pm – 7.30 pm (last admission is 6pm) for those interested in the history of the Castle. Refreshments will be available to purchase.
The Courtyard is free to visit on these dates, however you do need to pre-register!
Please note: Due to the hilly historic nature of the site, the Castle tower/keep is not accessible for those with mobility difficulties.
Car parking is available on the main zoo car park (for a SATNAV please use post code DY1 4AL). Car park costs £3.50. Please purchase a token at the car park machine to exit the barrier system.
The event does not include Zoo admission and no access to any parts of the Zoo site will be permitted.
Please be aware that there may be other functions taking place on site, however there will not be another event taking place in the Castle grounds.
All visitors will be asked to arrive by foot at the turnstiles entrance, on Castle Hill.
Tickets are not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and have no cash value.
