Thursday 19th & Friday 20th September 2019
From 3 pm – 6 pm (last admission 3.30 pm)
Join us for a late afternoon in the Castle where we we’re joining in with the annual Heritage Open Days which nationally run from 13th – 22nd September.
This FREE event in the 11th Century courtyard situated in the heart of Dudley Zoo will include horrible history sessions, a Castle Tour and ghost walk, follow our Castle trail and encounter a bird of prey.
This Event is free to attend, however you do need to pre-register!
Refreshments will be available to purchase on the evening.
Please note: Due to the hilly nature of the site, special arrangements must be pre-arranged for disabled guests and people with limited mobility. The Castle tower is not accessible for those with mobility difficulties.
Car parking is available on the main zoo car park (for a SATNAV please use post code DY1 4SQ). Car park costs £3.50. Please purchase a token at the car park machine to exit the barrier system.
The event does not include Zoo admission and no access to any parts of the Zoo site will be permitted.
Please be aware that there may be other functions taking place on site, however there will not be another event taking place in the Castle grounds.
All visitors will be asked to arrive by foot at the green security gates located at the rear of The Fellows pub car park (off The Broadway). Please do not park your vehicle on the pub car park.
Due to the distance between the entry/exit point and the Castle, all guests will be asked to leave the site at the same time, unless in the case of an emergency.
Tickets are not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and have no cash value.
