Love was in the air as five-year old red panda, Yasmin, celebrated St Valentine’s Day with a special delivery.
Early shift keepers discovered a parcel addressed to the mini mammal containing two heart-shaped biscuits.
Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, said: “We’ve had lots of Valentine’s Day adoptions this year, and Yasmin has certainly been a favourite with dozens of romantics, but it was a bit of a surprise when she received her own Valentine’s gift.
“The biscuits are made from vegetables, fruit and cereal and have gone down very well with all three of our red pandas, although Yasmin did seem reluctant to share her goodies!”
* A big thanks to all of you romantics out there who have adopted our adorable animals for your loved ones this Valentine’s Day.
