Happy Third Birthday, Tschuna!

There’s a very special birthday girl on site today, as our gorgeous Amur tiger, Tschuna, turns three!

As well as a pile of cards addressed to the birthday girl from well wishers, keepers also delivered a very special gift earlier this morning, sent all the way from her friends at Wuppertal Zoo in Germany.

Assistant Curator, Richard Brown, said: “Tschuna was very excited with her new enrichment toy, which was kindly sent by her former keepers in Germany and she and Daseep got stuck in playing with it straight away.

“I’m sure our big cat keepers will also be spoiling Tschuna throughout the day with a few extra of her favourite meaty treats.”
