Happy HOG-manay!

There were gifts galore for our micro pigs and Kune Kune, Bob, as they celebrated Hogmanay down on the farm.

Keepers hid a few favourite pig nuts and vegetables in cardboard boxes, wrapped in festive paper, which were met with squeals of delight when they delivered them to their pens.

DZG Senior Keeper, Lesley Lewis, said: “The pigs loved their presents, which was great enrichment for them.

“We made sure they each had their own gift, so there was no squabbling and they soon had the paper ripped off and were inside the boxes to find the food in no time at all.”
