Happy Easter everyone, from staff and all creatures great and small at DZG.
There’s plenty going on to make sure everyone has a cracking time with us. Twelve baby chicks hatched down on the farm, just in time to welcome our Easter visitors. The new Courtyard Café, formerly known as the Grey Lady Tavern and Tearoom, is open for business serving a range of snacks and afternoon teas. More tempting treats, including hot cross buns, are available at the Oak Kitchen at the Queen Mary or visit our new catering outlet at our main entrance for snacks, doughnuts & ice creams. The newly-open Castle Creatures an interactive medieval experience featuring live animals in the Castle is well worth a look and has already received high praise from visitors.
There’s craft activities in the restaurant, in the Discovery Centre and a colouring competition on the Farm too.
And don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for eight bunnies hiding around the grounds! It’s all part of our Easter Bunny Trail, with a prize up for grabs!
However you choose to spend it, enjoy your Easter Sunday and hope to see you on site soon.
