Happy Birthday, Tschuna!

Our beautiful Amur tiger, Tschuna, celebrates her second birthday today.

Big cat keepers have made her a special meat cake – her favourite – and lots of adopters will be popping in to say happy birthday.

DZG Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, said: “Tschuna is a gorgeous girl and, along with Sumatran tiger, Daseep, they have become two of our most popular animals since their arrival in mid-February.

“Tschuna loves to play and it’s a joy to see the two of them in the pool or chasing their toys. She’s also very fond of surprising visitors to the glass viewing panel when she suddenly runs in and faces them at eye level!”
