Come and discover all about our Patagonian sealions during two feed and talks this week.
Throughout half term and every weekend up to Easter, our Presenters will be hosting talks at 12.15pm and 2.45pm at the moat pool, where they’ll be introducing visitors to the antics of our five sealions, Oba, Marina, Tania, Deisy and Cleo.
Since their arrival of the quartet last year to join Cleo, the sealions have proved popular additions to the DZG collection.
The sealion talk forms a packed daily programme of feeds during half term.
Kicking off at 11.30am there’s a Go Wild! Show, with another at 2.15pm in the Go Wild! Theatre.
See our birds of prey in the castle courtyard at 12pm, and meet our otter family at 12.30pm.
At 12.45pm hear all about our giraffe trio, while Sumatran tigers, Daseep and Joao are in the spotlight at 1pm.
Head to Penguin Bay at 3pm to see the feeding of our Humboldts, while focus turns to our meerkats at 3.15pm or chimps at the bottom of the site at the same time.
Then why not finish your day with a ghost walk around the 11th century castle courtyard at 3.30pm.
That’s all in addition to the opportunity to meet the farm animals between 12 12.45pm and 2.15pm 3.30pm every day.
If you’re visiting this week, make sure you pick up a What’s On guide from the entrance!
