Explore nearly a thousand years of history as dusk settles over Dudley Castle. Your guide will share the site’s documented past alongside the long‑told tales of figures said to linger in its ruins — from soldiers and servants to residents recorded in local archives.

Many ghost hunters regard Dudley Castle as one of the most haunted in the UK and the Grey Lady is the most sighted spirit. Have you ever seen a ghost or even spotted the Grey Lady herself wandering around Dudley Castle?

The evening concludes with The Dark Experience inside the castle’s most famously haunted space: the Undercroft. Once an important medieval chamber, it’s now known for strange sounds, sudden chills, and shadowy sightings. For a brief moment, all lights will be turned off, leaving you in the same darkness experienced by those who walked these passages centuries ago.

Please note:  Due to the hilly nature of the site, special arrangements must be pre-arranged for disabled guests and people with limited mobility. The Castle tower is not accessible for those with mobility difficulties.

This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 12 years.

The Tour does not include Zoo admission and no access to any parts of the Zoo site will be permitted. You must stay with the tour guide at all times.

Please be aware that there may be other functions taking place on site, however there will not be another event taking place in the Castle grounds.

All visitors will be asked to arrive at the green security gates located at the rear of The Fellows pub car park (off The Broadway).  The tour will commence from this point once everyone has arrived.  Car parking will be available on site via The Fellows pub gates.  Please do not park your vehicle on the pub car park. The pub has ANPR cameras and you will be fined. The tour will commence from this point once everyone has arrived.

Due to the distance between the entry/exit point and the Castle, all guests will be asked to leave the site at the same time, unless in the case of an emergency.
