One of our primate keepers caught our baby lar gibbon Gary having a swinging time during some family fun at DZG.
Keeper Debbie Pittaway managed to film mum Meo swinging Gary to and fro as dad Huggy came down to ground level to join in the primate playtime.
The delightful clip shows how well the new family member is doing at DZG. As he gets bigger, Gary will also have six-year-old sister Penny and a brother Indah, aged three, to play with.
Head of Upper Primates, Pat Stevens, said: “Gary is doing really well and gaining confidence all the time.
“He is still clinging on to mum most of the time but does come off her for shorts spells and the whole group is enjoying having fun in the sun.”
