Fun in the sun
We’re just days away from our annual under 5s picnic parties and weather experts are predicting a scorcher.
With this weekend forecast to be the start of a 10-day heatwave, there will be plenty of fun in the sun at the event on Wednesday, June 27 and Thursday, June 28.
Taking place in the castle courtyard, attractions include Flip and Dippy’s puppet show, animal encounters, face painting, balloon modelling and a bouncy castle.
There’s also chance to meet DZG mascot Jambi and other characters and we have a fancy dress parade planned too.
DZG Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said: “The weather is looking great and we’re all geared up to have piles of fun with our younger supporters.”
Prices, which include zoo admission, are £6.50 per child (2-5 years) and £6.50 per adult. There is also a family ticket (valid for 2 adults and 2 children) for £24. Under 2s are free.
