Fishy kisses for Josh!

Patagonian sealion Oba helped us congratulate our latest Employee of the Month, Keeper Josh Luxton, with a great big smacker on his cheek!

Josh, a popular choice for this month’s accolade, was presented with a certificate and gift vouchers for his ­­­­­enthusiasm and willingness in helping the media and marketing team promote the zoo’s work.

DZG Marketing Manager Andrea Hales said: “Josh is always eager to help with photographs and has recently volunteered to run the zoo’s Instagram account.

“He also provides many stories which we use for our daily social media news and he’s started to film and edit fabulous videos of our animals, including the recent one for Oba’s birthday, which proved to be an online hit!”

Congratulations also to Customer Services Team Members Anthony Wingfield and Jack Small, who received notable achievement awards.
