Festive bag for life

As if you need another reason to book to see Santa in the 11th century Dudley Castle, this year his gifts will be handed out in an exclusive bag for life instead of being wrapped in paper!

The non-woven reusable bag has been designed by DZC Designer, Rachel Lane, as part of our Chronicles of Dudley Castle Santa’s grotto experience and features her hand-drawn pictures of the castle and some of our animals, including our new species for 2022, Helga, the wolverine!

DZC Retail Manager Isobel Blackwell, said: “Our team of elves usually start wrapping our grotto gifts at the start of November and use around 3,500 metres of Christmas paper each year, plus many rolls of sticky tape, so these bags for life will greatly help us reduce the environmental impact of the paper.

“Plus, the bag is a lovely gift in itself, which we’re sure the adults will appreciate during the Christmas shopping season!”

And remember the bag also features on this year’s DZC eco-friendly Christmas e-card, alongside our adorable 2022 babies, which we’re sending out as a thank you to any donors who contribute towards our Justgiving appeal in lieu of sending cards this year.

**Please note, a DZC branded non-woven reusable sloth bag will also be available in Santa’s grotto as an alternative. **
