We’ve had 18 new critters hatch in the farm barn – but you’ll have to look really hard to spot them!
As the tiny Peleng stick insect nymphs are only a few centimetres in size and as their name implies, they can easily camouflage themselves against sticks, leaves and twigs.
The babies, which have a green body with white tipped antennae, will be fully grown within six months and can live up to 18 months.
Adult females can vary in colour from green to turquoise, while males are brown in colour.
Make sure you pay a visit to our new-look barn, which is open every day between 12pm – 12.45pm and 2.15pm – 4.30pm.
