Our animals appreciated the clocks going back this morning as they enjoyed an extra hour to snooze in their dens.
With the clocks falling back 60 minutes at 2am to signal the end of British Summer Time, our 1,500 strong exotic animal collection were able to snuggle down for longer as they waited for keepers to arrive with their breakfast, including our Carpathian lynx and Colombian black spider monkeys.
The clock change also means chimpanzee, Mali, enjoys an extra hour to celebrate her birthday!
Primate keepers will be treating the birthday girl to lots of goodies to mark her 24th birthday.
If you’re visiting today for our last day of our half term Freak Week, remember to wish Mali many happy returns.
