Dudley Zoo is an amazing visitor attraction and a unique venue for your personal or corporate event. It has a wide range of facilities to cater for all group sizes.

Set in 40 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens the venue is home to more than 1,000 animals from around the world and the 11^th century Dudley Castle. In addition to the meeting rooms a marquee within the grounds offers guests a special setting.

Amadeus operate the catering and event management for the venue. As part of the NEC Group and with over 600 culinary awards, you can be confident that our award-winning Chefs and catering event team will deliver the most wonderful event and menu, created exactly to your taste.

The Queen Mary

A restaurant by day and the perfect event space by night. The Queen Mary, situated in the heart of the Zoo provides a flexible evening event space for up to 150 guests.

Marquees

Our venue is an idyllic setting for Marquees. Weddings receptions, evening cocktail parties and evening barbecues can be hosted in our delightful Courtyard and gardens, offering a romantic and private ambiance.

As soon as we found out we could have our wedding reception at Dudley Zoo our minds were made up! We love the Zoo and the Castle and the whole grounds. It was just too perfect!

We wanted a meeting before hand to check in dates, times and what would happen if we hired the room and how it all worked. After that first meeting with Lisa, I think before the meeting was over I had made my mind up and Dan was also on board.

Lisa explained what we could and couldn’t do, how the room would be set up and had photos as an example. She gave us a menu of food and toast drinks packages / choices and answered all our questions. There was no pressure to book there and then it was more of an informative meeting.

As soon as we were in a position to book our wedding and reception we emailed Lisa and got it booked!!

We were in constant communication with Lisa, had meetings when requested, all our questions answered and basically Lisa and her team were fantastic!!

We had pizza and pulled pork cobs for our food and everyone said how delicious it was. Everyone loved the room and the zoo and the whole experience. Everyone liked how the bar was separate from the room and how you really couldn’t tell the room is a zoo cafeteria. The dance floor is more than big enough to have a boogie which we took full advantage of. There were 150 people and we didn’t feel on top of each other at all.

Myself and Daniel had a feeding experience with the penguins and OMG!! That was AMAZING!! We absolutely loved every part of that experience. The lady was amazing, the penguins were just too cute and it’s something we will always cherish. Also the ground to have photos in and around are amazing! Such a beautiful place and backdrop.

Myself and Daniel would like to thank everyone involved in making our day and wedding reception so memorable, fabulous and amazing.

Everything ran super smooth and everything we asked for, or was told could be done was done.

If you’re looking for a fabulous venue for a wedding, or just any type of party I would definitely recommend Dudley Zoo and Castle. Lisa and her team couldn’t do enough for us.
