There are plenty of opportunities for your students to GO WILD during an educational visit to Dudley Zoo and Castle.
Set in a 40 acre woodland hillside, our zoo surrounds an 11th century castle and is home to many of the world’s most endangered species. We offer a daily programme of talks and have a number of walk through animal exhibits including Lemur Wood, Castle Creatures and Lorikeet Lookout.
Self-Guided Visits
For a general (self-guided) visit our educational admission rates are £8.00 per child (aged 3-15 years).
Admission rates for students 16 and over are £8.50 per student.
Accompanying adults are £9.00 each. You will receive one free adult with every 7 paying children.
EYFS groups receive one free adult with three paying students, with any additional adults being charged at £9.00 per person. (EYFS groups receive one free adult with every 3 paying students/ SEN groups receive a free carer admission per child).
These rates apply to groups of 10+ children and we require all self-guided visits to be pre-booked by completing and returning a booking form.

Visit with Workshop Session
Why not upgrade your visit by taking part in an EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP SESSION led by a member of our Education Team?
We offer sessions for all year groups from EYFS to Key Stage 4 and also for Post 16 students. Sessions are available throughout the academic year and bookings are now being taken for 2023/2024.
All workshop session plans are embedded with Science and Geography National Curriculum links, as well as core skills within Maths, English and Working Scientifically.

We are pleased to offer children’s PACKED LUNCHES which are now available to pre-order.
Priced at £4.75 per child, these lunches include a choice of Ham or Cheese Sandwich, packet of Animal Crisps, a Mini Chocolate Muffin and a bottle of Water.
