Hot food and a warm welcome are being served up at DZG’s new catering kiosk, The Watering Hole.

The colourful kiosk, decorated with pictures of our much-loved animals, opened during the Easter holidays and has gone down well with zoo visitors.
Situated to the side of the Safari Gift Shop, The Watering Hole serves a range of hot food meal deals and has a seating area in front.
Catering Manager Lisa Ward said: “We’ve been really impressed with how popular the new food outlet has been in our first couple of weeks of trading.
“We are getting more tables and umbrellas as well soon so this will be a great addition to the meals and snacks we already offer at The Oak Kitchen at the Queen Mary Restaurant and The Courtyard Café.
“We finish serving hot food at The Oak Kitchen at 3.30pm but The Watering Hole will carry on serving hot meal deals and snacks for longer and we look forward to welcoming many more visitors.”
