We’ve extended our popular DZG education programme and are inviting teachers to come and find out more during a free open day!
Due to demand we’re now offering more than 60 workshops for 2016/2017, with a diverse range of topics aimed for children in early years up to college-aged students.
DZG Marketing Assistant, Louise Curtis, said: “Our education bookings have increased year-on-year and we’re delighted to offer these new school sessions for the coming year.
“We’re inviting teachers to come and visit us for free and meet our education team and pick up a complimentary DZG goody bag, as well as discovering what we can offer their class during the half term event on Monday, October 24.”
Our workshops are underpinned by the national curriculum and cover a variety of themes and topics from counting and colours for the youngest classes through to animal behaviour, conservation and architecture for Key Stage 4.
During the day our presenting team will be on hand between 11am – 2pm when teachers can also tour our Discovery Centre facilities before enjoying the rest of their day learning more about some of our 1,500 strong animal collection at their leisure.
Teachers need to pre-register for free entry by CLICKING HERE.
