DZC is Symbol-Friendly!

As part of our mission to make DZC accessible to all, we’ve partnered with Widgit Software to improve accessibility for visitors with communication needs.

The symbol-based, colourful communication board, which can be found outside the Safari Shop, aims to support none and semi-verbal visitors to our attraction.

Widgit’s symbols are used in schools across the country and we’re proud to show how visitor attractions like us can use them too.

We’re also delighted to be named as being a Symbol-Friendly organisation as we continue our aim to connect all people with nature.
