Donated tools put to use

New tools donated by a Lichfield company are being used in the £15,000 refurbishment of our Reptile House.

Newell Rubbermaid gave a selection of Irwin Tools to DZG’s maintenance team when one of its employees carried out a Keeper for the Day experience.

Senior Curator, Derek Grove, said: “The tools couldn’t have come at a better time and have made a substantial saving for us and helped enormously.

“It is the second time the company has donated tools and we are very grateful they thought of us.”

CAPTION: Trainee Keepers Ian Kirk and Sam Grove set to work on the refurbishment of the Reptile House using the donated tools.
