Dog chews for parrots!

Canine treats are on the menu for DZG’s parrots after keepers brought in natural rawhide dog chews for our Amazon, Goffin and military macaws.

Bird Keeper Luke Millar, pictured, said: “Parrots will chew through anything they can, so rawhide is perfect for helping their natural instincts.

“Dog chews made out of rawhide, and are perfectly safe to give to parrots, as long as they are 100 per cent natural.

“The parrots are certainly enjoying them.”
