Junior doctor Sandi Sandhu prescribed a hen party with a difference when she and her fellow wedding party revellers joined DZG’s Wake Up The Zoo experience.
Sandi, who works at Newcross Hospital, Wolverhampton, and her 11-strong group took part in early morning animal meets and greets and feeds before indulging in a spot of face painting and tucking into breakfast in the QM Suite.
Sandi, aged 24, of Penn, Wolverhampton, who will marry fiance, Ian Angus, on July 14 in Whitchurch, wanted a send-off to remember. She said: “I have always loved animals and was so excited about joining Wake Up The Zoo. “We had a fantastic time and Ian was so jealous when he heard about the experience that I have promised to bring him along to DZG when we are married.”
