Our eight-week-old snow leopard cub has been delighting visitors with its playful antics in the internal den with mum, Nanga.
Since its May 2 birth the tiny mammal has been staying close to four-year-old Nanga, a first-time mum, but this week ventured out by the glass viewing panel affording visitors a quick glimpse of the first snow leopard to be born at DZG in 12 years.
Keepers have nicknamed the baby Cub X until they know the sex of the young snow leopard.
