Big cat keepers are gearing up for a busy weekend thanks to the public debut of our snow leopard baby, Cub X.

During the past week the cute eight-week-old cub has attracted thousands of web hits along with Facebook and Twitter followers and stole the show on BBC News website yesterday morning as the most-watched item!

Mum, Nanga, remains totally unfazed by the limelight and is getting on with such motherly duties as teaching her young offspring to use his claws to climb.
