Critters visit Cone

Some of DZG’s creepy critters joined Hallowe’en celebrations at Wordsley’s Red House Glass Cone.

DZG Presentation Assistant Amy Hickman and Customer Services Team Member, Roger Pickett, took part in the attraction’s two-day ‘No tricks just treats’ event, with a variety of small creatures from the Discovery Centre for visitors to meet.

Amy said: “We took along Edmund the bearded dragon, Shadow the ferret, rats John, Paul and Ringo, Raleigh the rainbow boa and Chili and Karac our tarantulas.

“We were really busy for the two days introducing and explaining all about the different animals to visitors, as well as giving out lots of children’s free entry vouchers and leaflets for our upcoming Winter Wonderland Castle Grotto.”
