Critters inspire coursework
Discovery Centre critters are set to have a starring role in the GCSE art coursework of Kingswinford student, 15-year-old Matthew Bill.
Matthew, alongside mum Louise, dad Chris and younger brother, Edward, took part in a Creature Feature with DZG Presenters, Dorrie Hall and Langan Turner, where the family met and photographed some of the Discovery Centre’s residents.
Dorrie, pictured above, said: “Matthew is currently working on his art GCSE project at Wolverhampton Grammar School, where he needed to photograph a creepy crawly and then produce a painting at school as part of his coursework.
“We introduced them to our Indian stick insects, cockroaches and a tarantula and hope Matthew was inspired to get painting we look forward to seeing his finished work!”
