Eight chicks are delighting Easter visitors in the farm barn.
Senior Keeper, Kirsty Thornton, pictured above, said: “The bantam chicks were hatched in an incubator just in time for the holidays.
“They’re very cute and fluffy so have been getting lots of attention from visitors.”
The chicks join a variety of other creatures on the farm that children can meet and greet, including giant rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, micro pigs and our newly named baby African pygmy goats Daffy and Dilly.
The contact paddock and farm barn located at the bottom of the zoo site – is open daily from 12pm 12.45pm and 2.15pm 4.30pm.
