Chernobyl visitors discover DZG
Children from Belarus discovered DZG during a two-week break from their Eastern European homeland.
Youngsters from the Wolverhampton and Kinver Link of Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline, were joined by members of their host families as they took in a tour of the 40-acres zoo site and enjoyed creature features, talks and feeds with their favourite species.
Paul Bevan, one of the organisers of the annual event, said: “We have a new group each year and for many it is their first experience of a zoo and they all really enjoy it.
“On behalf of the charity I would like to say thank you for a wonderful day.”
