DZG CEO Peter Suddock joined MPs from across the country in a BIAZA (British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums)-organised reception at the Houses of Parliament.
The annual event, which brought together members from the Lords and Commons alongside BIAZA representatives, celebrated conservation programmes at home and abroad. Mr Suddock said: “The reception focused on BIAZA’s European projects, including animal welfare and the transportation of species across the continent. “It was good to talk to members of both Houses about DZG’s work, particularly with endangered species including our Sumatran tigers who are among the rarest animals in the world.”
