Celebrating £1k award!

We’re delighted to have been awarded £1,000!

We received the funds as part of Benefact Group’s annual Movement for Good Awards, which has given over £1 million away to charities and good causes.

DZC Finance Manager, Jonathan Ashfield, said: “Dudley Zoo Development Trust is extremely grateful to receive this funding from Benefact Group’s annual Movement for Good Awards.

“As the Dudley Zoo Development Trust specifically assists with the development of the zoo and animal welfare, the money has been put towards the ongoing build of our brand-new exciting African painted dog habitat, which is nearing its completion.”

It is hoped the new development will be open to visitors before Easter, with the dogs set to arrive from European zoos in the coming weeks.
