Catherine’s gift from uni chums
Friends travelled north and south to see their university pal Catherine Gooding become a DZG Keeper for the Day.
Four friends who studied together at Leicester University travelled from Nottingham, Leicester and Enfield in London to see Catherine enjoy the treat they bought for her 30th birthday.
Catherine, pictured above with DZG Keeper Ed Dolphin, said Dudley Zoo was a central location for the friends to get together and was the perfect gift as she loves animals.
“I had a lovely time and really enjoyed feeding the penguins and the giraffes,” said Catherine from Islington.
“My friends knew this would be a terrific present for me as I just love animals. It was a very memorable present.”
