Calendar conservation cash

Sales?of our 2014 calendar have raised £633 for lemurs in the wild via our on-going Madagascar Campaign.

calendar_sales_web   DZG Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, who designed the Love What You Do-themed calendar, said:?”We are really pleased with the amount raised.   “Our Madagascar Campaign supports lemurs in their native country and over the years we have raised thousands for these small primates in the wild.”

Pictured with the calendar are Trainee Keeper, Jess Jones, and mum, Tracey, who worked with DZG’s tapirs as a keeper in the 1980s.

DON’T FORGET . . . the deadline for our 2015 calendar competition is approaching fast!   Jill said: “I know 2015 seems a long way off, but we’ll need shots by late summer to compile the calendar.    “We’ve got some of the world’s rarest animals to choose from and so long as we get a balanced representation across the various sections – big cats, ungulates, reptiles, primates and birds – the choice is yours.”    Entries will be judged by Express & Star Group Chief Photographer, Tim Thursfield.
