Sales of Dudley Zoo’s 2016 calendar have raised £520.73 for endangered African wild dogs.

Proceeds from the fundraising calendar, which features 13 photos of some of our animals snapped by our visitors, will be sent to Painted Dog Conservation in Zimbabwe, which works to save African dogs in the wild.
DZG Sales Manager, Isobel Blackwell, said: “The calendar was really popular and we even had to order a second print run after the first sold out.
“They were excellent value too at just £4.99 and I think visitors liked the quality and size.”
The calendar was put together following a competition for our talented amateur photographers to send in their stunning shots, with the winning entries chosen by DZG photographer, Jason Skarratt.
Painted Dog Conservation was chosen to receive the funds after representatives visited DZG last year to talk to staff about their conservation work.
