Bunny daycare!
Six baby bunnies are keeping farm staff on their toes during a daily dash round the barn.
The young giant rabbits – The BFG, Teddy Gray, Maisie, Otis, Murphy and Sybil – who were born at the end of June, are being given the run of the barn each day while it’s closed to visitors and are hopping here, there and everywhere!
Trainee keeper, Clare Westwood, said: “We decided to let the babies out to freely roam the barn when it’s closed to the public for an hour or so at a time.
“This allows them to burn off some energy while they’re busy exploring and investigating their surroundings.
“It keeps us on our toes though as they are hopping around everywhere, although just like children, all the running about certainly makes them sleep well later in the day!”
