BSL trail launch

This summer, come and learn how to sign 12 of our popular animals here at DZC, as we launch a British Sign Language Trail.

As part of our ongoing Equality, Diversity, Inclusivity and Accessibility work, spearheaded by our champion, Rosie, we’ve installed permanent visual guides for visitors on how to sign some of our on-site species’ names at various animal habitats across the 40-acre site.

And we’re delighted be officially launching the trail next Saturday, July 27 by welcoming a BSL interpreter, who will be signing our daily talk programme for visitors who are hard of hearing.
