Brolly good fun!
Rain didn’t stop play for this cheeky black-and-white-ruffed lemur.
The savvy small primate grabbed an umbrella from a visitor to Lemur Wood – home to more than 30 free-roaming lemurs and set off for a wander around the one-acre paddock.
DZG Head of Media and Communications, Jill Hitchman, said: “Lemurs love to play out in the trees and meadows, but this week’s torrential downpours have put a dampener on their antics.
“However, yesterday one of the black-and-white-ruffeds spied an opportunity for fun, grabbed an umbrella from a visitor and made a dash for it.
“He carried it around for a while but abandoned the brolly when a gust of wind almost blew him over.”
