We’re getting set to hit the road again and spread our ZooNooz at an event near you!
And our 2017 diary is filling up for our Outreach Co-ordinator, Sally Skinner’s mobile roadshow.
As part of DZG’s outreach activities we’ll come along to your event with a variety of small critters from the Discovery Centre for your visitors to meet, including cuddly, furry and scaly creatures.
Face painters will also transform visitors’ faces into their favourite zoo animal.
Sally said: “Outreach is a great opportunity to let people know about the wonderful work of the zoo and promote our upcoming events, especially with his year being our 80th anniversary – there’s lots going on to talk about!”
Last year Sally travelled across the borough and beyond to libraries, museums, fairs and festivals and handed out 10,000 kids go free vouchers.
So if you’re hosting an event, why not bring DZG to you!
Packages are available all year round, seven days a week and can be tailored for the event.
