Boot-iful idea!

Ferret Majik has a new toy which is good for the sole – an old boot which belonged to DZG presenter Langan Turner.

Langan donated the worn-out footwear to the ferrets as an enrichment toy to keep female Majik and her companion Jack, an albino ferret, entertained.

He said: “Majik and Jack love exploring inside the boot as they naturally like burrowing. We sometimes put food at the bottom too to make snack times more fun for the pair.”

Majik and Jack live off-show in the Discovery Centre and are used in outreach visits, education sessions and for Horrible History talks.
