Birthday girls turn keepers!

Birthday girls Victoria Edmonds and Cathii Heslop celebrated in style with a Keeper For a Day experience at DZG.

Victoria, 23, of Oswestry– pictured above in Lemur Wood – received the event as a birthday gift.

She said: “I would definitely recommend this experience to all age groups, the keepers are friendly and knowledgeable and you really get to know the different personalities of all the animals.

“It was a fantastic day out.”

She added: “It’s so hard to choose a best part of the day, everything was amazing, but feeding the lemurs and the owls was particularly enjoyable.”

Cathii,  aged 22, of Salisbury – pictured right – was treated to her experience as a surprise birthday present from her partner, Alex.   She said: “I have always wanted to be a zoo keeper but never pursued it.    

“I had an amazing day!

“All the keepers were wonderful and had a vast knowledge on their specific animals.    

“I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves animals.”
